SDL designed and manufactured products consist of bespoke Rugged and Industrial Monitors that are machined, cast or fabricated as required. They come in a range of sizes from 5.5" to 50" and are offered with options on case, chassis, rack mount, panel mount styles, colours, touch screens, glass protective window finish - ITO, AR or Mesh, AC or DC inputs, heaters, multiple video inputs are available with overlays, PIP including legacy formats.

The standard design uses a P43 phosphor and can be set to operate at any fixed frequency between 15KHz and 70KHz. Either composite video, video and composite sync., or separate horizontal and vertical sync. input signals are accepted. The units require a stabilised supply of 12 volts although variants operating from different supply voltages are available. The power requirement is 6W. Custom designs offering frequencies higher then 30KHz and resolutions in excess of 1000 lines are also available.

Sascal Displays design and manufacture a range of high resolution monochrome CRT displays to offer users a wide range of resolution and frequency possibilities. Industrial, ruggedised and full MIL spec CRT versions are available to give the optimum price/performance ratio for any specific application.

Display monitors can be tailor made to suit individual customer requirements regarding phosphor colour, signal inputs, supply voltages, environmental conditions, ruggedisation and mechanical dimensions. The units are ideal for a wide range of applications and are used in industrial control units, military shipping and land based military vehicles.

Sascal Displays offer a series of very high resolution Monochrome Displays in which the electronics are designed to allow a variety of cathode ray tubes to be operated at a fixed line frequency within the range 15 to 80KHz and 45 to 120Hz frame rate. Potential resolution (depending on cathode ray tube) extends to 1600 × 1200 lines at 60Hz frame rate (non interlaced). Excellent edge to edge focus is assured by dynamic focus correction and display stability maintained by the regulated EHT supply.
